How We Serve

A Spiras Health Operations Manager will function as an operations generalist to play a lead role in planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing out projects on time. They are accountable for the entireproject scope, the project team and resources, and the success or failure of the project.

Responsibilities:

·         Implementations and Project Management:

o   In coordination with the Sr. Director of Operations, drive key aspects of the project management and implementation process for new clients, expansion into new geographies, and new product launches.

o   Keep project stakeholders informed of deliverable dates and project status by preparing regular status reports and leading regular project and implementation meetings.

o   Serve as the internal primary point of contact for implementation tasks, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery.

o   Manage assigned projects from initiation to completion, including developing the plan, coordinating timing, tracking, and reporting progress.

·         Operations Management:

o   In coordination with Sr. Director of Operations, develop and operationalize plans to onboard new clients, expand into new geographies, and implement new products.

o   Run regular meetings to ensure alignment and track progress on implementation tasks.

o   Follow up with task owners regularly to clarify assignments, deadlines, and deliverables.

·         Reporting and Communication:

o   Develop and deliver regular status reports on open implementations and projects to stakeholders.

o   Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure clarity and alignment on project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

·         Process Improvement:

o   Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement standard processes for implementations and project management.

o   Conduct post project reviews to identify lessons learned

o   Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the organization.

o   Conduct time studies and work flow analysis to identify efficiency gains

·         Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in project management and operations in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft office tools (e.g., excel, PowerPoint, word, forms,)
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
  • PMP certification is a plus but not required
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • Value based care experience is a plus

 

Additional Information:

  • This role does not currently have direct reports, but there may be opportunities for team leadership as the organization grows.
  • The Operations Manager will play a key role in potentially standing up a Project Management Office (PMO) within the organization.
