How We Serve

This position will be responsible for administering, maintaining, and regularly auditing cloud-based applications and security infrastructure for Spiras Health as directed and in compliance with defined policies and procedures. Spiras Health is a HITRUST© certified organization and the colleague filling this role will be a key component to ongoing system access management, policy compliance, and security. This role will include a mix of responsibilities and offers the ability to interact with colleagues across the organization. The Systems Administrator reports directly to the Director of Information Technology and Security and will be responsible for the successful implementation and ongoing execution of the Spiras Health Information Security Program.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administer cloud-based platform solutions including Microsoft Azure AD, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Vonage, eClinicalWorks, Giva, and others by granting/revoking user access as requested and approved
  • Responsible for importing data into Dynamics 365 as needed for growth and expansion, overseeing the NextGen Mirth Interface between Dynamics 365 and eClinicalWorks, and implementing any new solutions needed to support clinical needs and reporting
  • Monitor internal ticket system for access requests (Giva) and document/ensure adherence to policy and procedures in alignment with defined HITRUST standards
  • Oversee progress on defined projects with outsourced partner resources (Strategic partner provides help desk and full breadth and depth of IT resources)
  • Establish accounts for new users and assist with password or login problems
  • Conduct assigned functions with technology platform to support new colleague onboarding (local and remote)
  • Work with colleagues in the organization for platform-specific support needs and new software or hardware recommendations
  • Maintain and participate in reviewing and updating all policy, procedures, monitoring and auditing in support of the entire organization for HITRUST and CMS compliance
  • Analyze records and tickets to spot underlying trends and potential issues
  • Support the implementation of new solutions or applications.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge and expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft SQL as well as a variety of software and applications 
  • 4+ years of experience in a technical support role 
  • Certifications are preferred, but not required 
  • Analytical skills to study problems and records and identify solutions
  • Experience managing projects from ideation to successful delivery 
  • Willingness to solve complicated problems and see projects through to completion 
  • Team-oriented attitude to help other colleagues and departments with technical problems 
  • Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to concurrently manage time and effectively prioritize numerous projects 

Skills Required:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 administration experience is required
  • Experience in health care information technology and operational experience with a focus on improving the quality and safety of healthcare is preferred
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field required Physical & Other Requirements:
